In response to a music video shared by Nigerian artist Davido on his Twitter account, former President Buhari’s ex-Media Aide Bashir Ahmad expresses strong disapproval.

Taking to his own Twitter handle, Bashir voiced his concerns about the content, particularly as it pertains to the Muslim community. In his tweet.

He wrote: “There are many reasons why every Muslim finds this content absolutely disrespectful, hurtful, and offensive, @davido. I assume you all know that we Muslims don’t mix our religion with jokes in any way, especially Salah (prayer), which is sacred and the second of the five pillars of Islam.”

Bashir went on to explain the significance of Salat in Islam, emphasizing that it is a deeply revered practice where Muslims remember and express their love, respect, and gratitude towards Allah.

He urged Davido to respect this sacred aspect of islam.

Furthermore, the former Media Aide made it clear that no Muslim would consider the content “as an honor or acceptable,” underscoring the need for sensitivity and respect when touching upon religious matters.

The tweet sparked discussions and reactions from various Twitter users, with many showing support for the former Media Aide’s sentiments.
