Early Life and Education
Agbede was born on October 22, 1970, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Agbede earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics from the University of Lagos, followed by a master’s degree in business administration from Cranfield University.
Agbede is a numerous highly skilled with more than 27 years of experience in Human Resources, Customer Relationship Management, and Banking Operations.
She has a track record of successful personnel integration during mergers and acquisitions, cultural transformation, and corporate strategy implementation.
She began her professional career with Guaranty Trust Bank, where she held positions such as Relationship Manager and Vault Custodian.
She carefully differentiated herself and quickly advanced from Executive Trainee to Manager.
Agbede went on to become the CEO of JKG Limited, a business consultancy firm, in 2003.
She joined Access Bank in 2003 as an Assistant General Manager, where she managed the bank’s portfolio of chemical trading enterprises.
She has been the Access Bank Group’s Head of Human Resources since 2010, overseeing the Group’s human capital growth.
She is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Management in the United Kingdom and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Nigeria.
