A comedian on Tiktok, Mubarak Muhammad, popularly known as ‘uniquepikin’ has been arraigned before Magistrate Court 58 for mocking governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state in one of their plays online.

The comedian was arraigned before the court along with his team member, Nazifi Isah Muhammad on a four count charge of conspiracy, defamation assassination of character and breach of peace.

The duo were taken before the court by the Kano Sensorship Board accusing them of the violations.

They pleaded guilty to the charges and were remanded in prison by the court till Monday, 7th 2022 for judgement.

The counsel defending the accused pleaded for court’s leniency for them.

Meanwhile the duo have been remanded in prison by the judge Aminu Gabari pending the court sitting on Monday.
