Nigerian singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, known as Dammy Krane, has leveled serious allegations against fellow musician David Adeleke, widely recognized as Davido.

In a recent post on X, Krane accused Davido of having him arrested under false pretenses.

Krane claimed that Davido paid authorities to detain him, falsely alleging his involvement in illegal activities related to Flutterwave and cryptocurrency scams. “Oppressor @davido has paid them to arrest me,” Krane stated. “They wrote petition lying that I am into flutterwave & crypto scam just to arrest me. This is how they keep using the bad cops to spoil the name of the police. If anything happens to me @davido should be held responsible,” he added.

As of now, Davido and his team have not addressed these accusations.

The feud between Krane and Davido dates back to last year when Krane alleged that Davido owed him for songwriting contributions and accused him of sabotaging his record deal with Sony Music. Davido refuted these claims, labeling Krane as “ungrateful” and stating that he had provided support to Krane during a difficult time.

Krane has also accused Davido of being involved in the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike, who passed away from alleged alcohol poisoning in October 2017. Davido has dismissed these allegations and threatened legal action against Krane for “defamation of character and cyberbullying.”
