Few days after the death of Kamal Aboki, a Kano-based skit maker who dies in an accident, another comedian Abdulwahab also known as Awarwasa lost his life.

Daily News 24 reports that the skit maker died after a short illness in Jos, Plateau State.

A source who spoke to Hausa24 said Awarwasa died after completing one of his shows lately.

The source said he slumps after coming out of his car and they later heard the news of his death.

Kannywood celebrities like Ali Nuhu, Falalu A. Dorayi and Lawan Ahmad, have taken to social media to share their condolences and pay tribute to Abdulwahab.

Awarwasa was a well-known figure in the film industry, known for his comedic roles and was mentored by Ali Nuhu.

He is survived by his wife and three children.
