Abdullahi of Kano Pillars scored in the 10th, 14th, 33rd, 45th, and 60th minutes of the game. He wanted to make it six, but the woodwork stopped him.

Abdullahi made NPFL history by becoming the youngest player to score a hat-trick at the Pantami Township Stadium in Gombe.

He also became the youngest player in NPFL history to score a hat-trick in the first half and the first to score five goals in a single away game.

The young striker was overjoyed to score his first NPFL goal and hopes to be called up to represent Nigeria’s national teams.

“This is the first time I am playing in the NPFL and my joy is immeasurable, and I owe it all to God because victory is from God,” he said.
