Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba who was known professionally as Mohbad and recently as Imole, is a Nigerian musician, Rapper, Singer, songwriter, and vocalist.
Born on the 8th day of June, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria. He grew up in Bariga, a densely populated neighbourhood in Lagos known for its high crime rate and poverty.
He attended Air Force Secondary School, Lagos.
Mohbad started making music in his secondary school days.
His music is known for its mix of Yoruba and English lyrics, as well as its upbeat and danceable style.
Mohbad Record Label and Songs
Mohbad agreed to a record label deal with Marlians Record World in 2019.
He released his debut album, LIGHT, in 2020, months after his viral song “Ponmo,” which featured Naira Marley and Lil Kesh.
The album got him 4 Beatz Award nominations in 2020, and AudioMack top 21 artist award in 2021
Naira Marley produced Mohbad’s first EP (Extended Play) of 8 tracks; the EP also carries the production stamps of notable producers like Austin Sinister, Rexxie, SB and P.Beat.

Mohbad arrest by NDLEA
In February, 2022 a viral video of him, Zinoleesky and four others being molested by the officials of the NDLEA at his Lagos Home made the rounds on the internet.
The musicians were seen being hit with clubs and mishandled by the Men in NDLEA outfits
The NDLEA later confirmed the raid, stating that their men raided the Marlian boys apartment in the Idado area of Lagos. Cannabis, MDMA were found in the boy’s apartment and cars.
Mohbad, Zinoleesky alongside their four friends were later released.
Mohbad exit Marlians Record World
Two years into his record label deal with Marlian’s Record World, on October 5th, he announced his departure from his former Record label, Marlian’s Music World.
Accusing his boss, singer, Naira Marley, of ordering boys to beat him up after he announced his intention of employing a different manager for his music and businesses.
He later went ahead to create his own record Label “IMOLENIZATION” and his label was doing well.

Until September 3, 2023, when he died at the age of 27 after suffering from an ear infection. As reported by his immediate family, he has actively made good music for the ears of his fans since his debut in 2019.
