Comrade Aliyu Charanchi, the leader of the coalition, stated that Governor Mohammed’s remarks reflect the sentiments of many northerners who feel disproportionately affected by the administration’s economic policies.
“The governor’s statements were made in good faith within a democratic context, addressing the legitimate concerns of his constituents,” Charanchi said.
The coalition also condemned what it described as threats from the presidency against Governor Mohammed, labeling them as “unfair and dismissive.” Charanchi urged President Bola Tinubu to prioritize resolving the nation’s economic and security challenges rather than engaging in personal attacks.
In response to the show of solidarity, Governor Mohammed expressed gratitude for the support and reiterated his commitment to advocating for the welfare of his people.
“My administration remains dedicated to addressing the challenges facing Bauchi State and the Northern region as a whole,” he assured.
