Manchester United has confirmed that three key players will miss the club’s last game of the year against Burnley in the English Premier League.

The players to miss the Burnley clash at Old Trafford on Thursday include Victor Lindelof, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on the club’s official website on Wednesday.

“We can confirm that the Reds will be without at least three players for the Burnley clash,” United said.

“Victor Lindelof was ruled out of the trip to St James’ Park earlier this week due to a positive COVID-19 test the day before the match, and this result will rule him out of our next game too. Paul Pogba will also miss out, due to a thigh problem which is keeping him sidelined.

“Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes will be unavailable due to a one-match suspension, after collecting his fifth yellow card of the Premier League season on Monday night.
