Benue State University student, Jessica Agee has been murdered by unknown gunmen.
Reports claimed that Agee was shot dead on Monday at her residence in Makurdi.
Spokesperson of the Benue State Police Command, DSP Catherine Anene, confirmed her death.
DSP Anene told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that investigation was ongoing on the matter.
“The incident is confirmed, her corpse has been deposited at a morgue while an investigation is in progress,” she added.
