The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has issued operational licences to 24 private guard companies to complement the efforts of the corps in curbing crimes in the country.<\/strong><\/div>\n

According to NSCDC Public Relations Officer Mr Olusola Odumosu on Friday in Abuja, \u00a0the issuance was to eliminate quackery in the private security industry.<\/div>\n

The statement said that NSCDC Commandant General, Mr Ahmed Audi, presented the licences to the companies after successfully undergone thorough screening to ascertain the eligibility of their applications.<\/div>\n
