{"id":52672,"date":"2022-09-04T16:45:27","date_gmt":"2022-09-04T15:45:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailynews24.ng\/?p=52672"},"modified":"2022-09-04T17:47:45","modified_gmt":"2022-09-04T16:47:45","slug":"2023-gawuna-urges-contestants-to-put-kano-first","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailynews24.ng\/2023-gawuna-urges-contestants-to-put-kano-first\/","title":{"rendered":"2023: Gawuna urges contestants to put Kano first"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Kano State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Candidate Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has urged all contestants to put Kano first above other interests<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The interest of the State should supercede any individual&#8217;s ambition he said&#8221;<a href=\"http:\/\/Dailynews24.ng\">.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gawuna made the call on Sunday during a One day Colloquium for Kano and Jigawa States candidates across political parties contesting for various elective offices in the 2023 general elections organised by the Kano-Jigawa Professionals Forum (KJPF) held at the Aminu Kano Center for Democratic Research,Mambayya House.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We as candidates should put our differences aside and work towards the development of Kano State.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As stakeholders it is our duty to enhance peace, unity, cohesion and progress among our people therefore we should cooperate with one another and advise should be given to those in government even if you are in the opposition&#8221; Gawuna stated.<\/p>\n<p>The APC governorship flagbearer also commended the KJPF for organising the event, saying the presentations made were educative and visionary.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am delighted you organised this event to give your contribution towards promoting the development of Kano state.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Even though everyone of us has his own programmes but this 10 years strategic plan report was made by professionals of diverse background therefore I wish to call on all contestants to use it as a platform for guidance when elected during governance&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In attendance during the event were the APC Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo and other candidates from various political parties<a href=\"http:\/\/Google.com\">.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kano State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Candidate Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has urged all contestants to put Kano first above other interests. &#8220;The interest of the State should supercede any individual&#8217;s ambition he said&#8221;.
