Usman Ododo-led Governorship Primary Election Committee had declared the Saturday\u2019s exercise inconclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"dSUgr_p98tc\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kano residents reveal shocking truth about ongoing water scarcity!\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dSUgr_p98tc?start=9&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation in a statement by its Spokesperson, Mr Ojo Oyewamide, on Sunday in Akure said that the rerun was to give an impression that the committee conducted a credible governorship primary in the state on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis attempt is the purported rescheduling of the exercise in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state. Our question is that how can a primary election that did not take place anywhere in the state be rescheduled in one of the 18 local government areas?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ALSO READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/dailynews24.ng\/over-1000-apc-members-defect-to-nnpp-in-kano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Over 1,000 APC members defect to NNPP in Kano<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe consider this as a shameful attempt to give the sham a stamp of credibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe also see it as an insult to the sensibilities and religion of the people of Okitipupa Local Government Area to slate an election for 12 noon on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe local government area is predominantly populated by Christians and they will be in Church at the time the exercise will be taking place. It is our belief that this is an unthinking plan to disenfranchise members of our party in the area,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oyewamide described the Saturday\u2019s primary of the party as a mockery of democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe insist that what happened in Ondo State yesterday(Saturday) was a disheartening mockery of democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs a result, our party has become a booth of joke in the hands of the opposition parties and the people of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe will like to categorically state that the Kogi governor cannot impose a candidate on our party members through a shambolic exercise.
