ForeMedia Group bags Best Afrocentric Media Content Development Ecosystem Award<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\u201cThe essence of the reality TV show is to motivate and inspire young African women by giving them a voice.<\/p>\n
\u201cSome girls will be put together in a house for a couple of weeks and they will be educated on African culture and values that are being lost right now in the society.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn the show, we intend to mentor young ladies on how to be strong and confident.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were propelled to do this, because, we realised that our culture is going into extinction.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe try to input cultures like African dances, foods; how African woman takes care of a child, tie a wrapper and others, and make the girls to participate,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The talented actress Chika Ike and graduate of Human Kineitics and Health Education from the University of Lagos said it was regrettable that the social media and western culture were gradually taken over African cultures and values.<\/p>\n
She underscored the need to educate the youths to safe African culture, traditions and values from extinction.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Miss Teacher\u2019 movie producer and gender advocate said, her studio-produced movies, music videos, documentaries, photography, make up and dressed-in.<\/p>\n
She said the studio \u2018is a one-stop shop for all media-related activities in terms of productions\u201d.
