An Abuja-Kaduna train reportedly derailed on Sunday in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

It was gathered that the train was a few minutes after leaving its destination, Kubwa, when the incident happened.

Daily News 24 observed that the train was on its way to Idu station.

Recall that in January 2023, the Abuja-Kaduna Train derailed at Kubwa, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.

Then, the NRC shut down the train service while repair work commenced immediately.
