Newly crowned miss Nigeria Shatu Garko has continued to blaze the trail after she emerged the youngest and first northerner to wear the Miss Nigeria crown.
Garko represented the North West region of Nigeria during the pageant and despite her tender age, beat her other 17 counterparts to become the first hijab-wearing model to clinch the Miss Nigeria crown.
The horse riding lover was the 44th queen of the competition during the coronation ceremony held in Lagos on Friday night.
