Emefiele in DSS custody a shock – Agbakoba

A former president of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Olisa Agbakoba, has described confirmation by the Department of State Services, DSS, that the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele is in its custody as a ‘shock.’

Agbakoba questioned what role the DSS would play in Emefiele’s arrest.

The DSS had earlier on Saturday confirmed that Emefiele was currently under its custody.

Kwankwaso speaks on Tinubu’s Ministerial offer, denies Ganduje’s allegations

Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, Presidential Candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), has denied the allegations that ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje levelled against him.

While briefing State House correspondents earlier on Friday, Ganduje said Kwankwaso was orchestrating the ongoing demolitions in Kano.

The New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has described the immediate past governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje as his “political boy.”

Kwankwaso was reacting to Ganduje’s latest threat to slap him.

After meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Ganduje had threatened to slap Kwankwaso.
