Kano State Deputy Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hassan Musa Fagge has been conferred with Fellowship Award of the Institute Of Corporate Administration (ICAD).

The award was for the Distinguished Professional Contribution to Public Administration by the Membership Council of the Institute, being presented to Malam Hassan Fagge along with other 31 recipients, at the ‘2022 MEGA ICONS SYMPOSIUM AND AWARDS OCCASION’ held Saturday in Kano.

In a letter of nomination of the recipient forwarded by Dr. Godswill C. Onyekwere, the Director and Chief Learning Officer of the Institute, it reads:

“You are receiving this fellowship award, in recognition and appreciation of your dedication and commitment to service, upwardly mobile and visionary approach to administrative matters, professionalism in service and public spiritedness.”

“This offer qualifies you as a senior member of the Institute and entitled you to append the designatory letters FCAI (Fellow Corporate Administration Institute) after your name.”

Responding, the Chief Press Secretary who expresses gratitude to the Almighty Allah, attributed the achievement to the sense of hardworking which allowed him to render a selfless service in his position at the public sphere, also generated the interest of the Institute to nominate him as a senior member.

“All praise be to Almighty Allah who keeps me alive and healthy to witness this delighted occasion. I am very happy for this blessing which came into my life suddenly.”

“I really appreciated my parents and relatives with whom I have the courage and support to be where I was today, and you my colleagues I appreciates your cooperation and I am still calling on you to redouble your commitment in your service, success are coming from nowhere.”

“My dear colleagues of the media, that is what I have been advising you all the time, work hard without expectation of anything in return, maybe someone is watching and assessing your dedication, and when it is your time to shine, you will surprise.”

Hassan Musa Fagge is the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Kano State and APC Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna. He is the eldest son of Alhaji Abdulhamid Musa Fagge, a Teacher and Administrator who worked with the old Kano State up to the present at different capacities, also contributed a lot toward the development of the Civil Service sector of the state before his retirement.

His closet relatives includes his twin brother Hussein Musa Fagge, a Civil Servant and Usman Musa Fagge, a Politician. Others are Salihu Musa Fagge who is also a Civil Servant and Zainab Musa Fagge, an administrator with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and Ali Musa Fagge among others.

In August 2022, Hassan Musa Fagge has been nominated as a member Publicity Committee for the Gawuna-Garo Gubernatorial Campaign Committee of Kano Central. He is married to Hajiya Lubabatu Hassan Fagge and blessed with two children Fatima (Nihaal) Hassan Fagge and the youngest Abdulhamid (Areef) Hassan Fagge.

Recipients of the awards including the Dan Maje, Ambassador Dr Rufa’i Mukhtar, an entrepreneur, also a community development organizer, Eng. Dr. Salawu Muhd Hamza of Kazaure Polytechnic, Kano State Commissioner of Agriculture, Mss. Blessing Omede from Kaduna Electricity and many others from the academia and other spheres of human endeavours.

Issues were discussed extensively on the theme of the program “Renewing The Spirit Of Enterprise In The New Economy.”
