The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has received no less than 250, 000 defectors from the United Democratic Party (UDP).
The ADC welcomes Vice President of the UDP, Alh. Bashir Gambarawa in Kano alongside thousands of the decampees.
This is coming as preparations are in top gear ahead 2023 General election.

ADC Kano State Chairman, Haruna Kabiru Wakili in a statement issued to Daily News 24 said;
“I sincerely have the pleasure to welcome National Chairman of our great party, African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu, accompanied by National Secretary, Alh. Sa’idu Baba, National Organising Secretary, Alh. Ibrahim A. Suleiman, other distinguished National Party Leaders here in Kano State, for gracing a historic party’s occasion to receive new decampees into ADC.
“I’m also honoured to have an audience with all the stakeholders so as to discuss internal pressing issues that engulfed the party. Under my leadership in Kano State, the Party is becoming much stronger and absolutely ready for the upcoming general elections of 2023.”
As the Party opens its doors to intending members and stakeholders in the Nigerian political sphere, the ADC is deciding to take the bull by the horn, so as to effect necessary changes in Nigeria’s political system and ultimately ensure victory in the forthcoming general elections.
