Liverpool’s Andy Robertson and Virgil van Dijk revealed the rest of the Reds’ FIFA 22 ratings, with some players very unhappy with EA Sports.
EA Sports have officially released FIFA 22 today, with Liverpool’s Andy Robertson and Virgil van Dijk handing out VIP copies of the game to the rest of the squad.
Earlier this month Liverpool’s FIFA 22 ratings were revealed by EA Sports and now Liverpool have released a video showing each player’s reaction to their player rating.

With some top players such as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and club captain, Jordan Henderson all receiving downgrades, Robertson and van Dijk dished out the bad news at Liverpool’s AXA training centre in Kirkby.
How the players reacted to their FIFA 22 player ratings
The video released on LFCTV GO starts off with Robertson and van Dijk revealing their own FIFA 22 ratings, as the Scottish full back has a few digs about the Dutchman’s player card.
Robertson opens the video saying: “My sidekick Trent done this last year, so he’s been dropped,” causing van Dijk to burst out laughing.
“I’ve got the big man with me today, most-viewed videos, let’s see if we can do it again this year.”

Robertson and van Dijk proceed to open their VIP copies of FIFA 22 that came with a device displaying their card stats and player rating.
“Oooh they’ve dropped you one!” said Robertson.
“How have they given you better passing man?” questioned van Dijk to which Robertson replied, “All you can do is big diagonal passes mate, I can mix it up!”
“You know who should be the highest-rated player? Joel Matip,” says van Dijk.
“He should have like 98 dribbling, even though he doesn’t know where he’s going half the time, he just goes on an adventure!”
Robertson and van Dijk move on to find the rest of the squad, starting with Salah, who has been downgraded to an 89 overall rating on FIFA 22.
“Why’ve you been downgraded Mo? You’ve gone down by one,” asks Robertson.
“I don’t know! I scored more goals last season than the season before I think,” reacted Salah.
“You know what as well Mo? I’m stronger than you,” Robertson jokes.
“Milly! Milly! Can you please explain this to me? Robbo is stronger than me!” Salah shouted across the treatment room.
At this point, van Dijk reveals Sadio Mane’s rating to the Senegalese winger, “I’m not happy! I’m not happy!” Mane responds to his downgrade.
Next up to receive their FIFA 22 rating is Alisson Becker, as van Dijk jokes that the Brazilian shot-stopper has 99 heading after his stunning goal against West Brom last season.
The duo swiftly moves on to find Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones, with the latter only rated at 73 overall, making him a silver quality card to the shock of Robertson and van Dijk.
As van Dijk approaches Gomez, the young English centre-back says, “Bro I’ve already seen, it’s a shambles…it’s a shambles I don’t want it!”
“Seriously, Milly, out of 100 to only have 30 shooting, even my pace has gone down!”
Robertson moves on to find Henderson in the canteen, saying: “Beware guys, this one could get aggressive.”
“You’re joking? What was I last year? Has anything gone up?” questions Henderson.
With the club captain clearly not happy, Robertson and van Dijk call over Diogo Jota, with the Portuguese attacker well-known for his FIFA ability after winning the ePremier League Invitational after an exciting final against Liverpool teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold.
“Only 82 rated? That’s poor…where is the respect?” asks Jota.
“You developed the game! You developed the game didn’t ya!” says Robertson.
The pair find Joel Matip and reveal his rating, with van Dijk unhappier about Matip’s card than the Cameroonian himself!
“68 dribbling? Are you kidding EA Sports? I’m starting a petition to have Joel Matip with 85 dribbling at least!”
The video ends with skipper Henderson walking down the stairs and dropping his VIP copy of the game into the bin, showing his anger about his FIFA 22 rating.
“That’s a wrap guys, a couple of low ratings, couple of average ones, but hey, we all have room to improve,” says Robertson.
“Next year. Bigger, better, better numbers. Boom!” [Liverpool]
