An industrialist and prominent businessman, Alhaji Sani Buhari Daura, Walin Daura, is dead.
A family source told Solacebase, on Sunday that Walin Daura died in the United Arab Emirates at the age of 89.
The source said efforts are on top gear to repatriate his remain to the country within the next 24 hours for internment at his country home.
Born in Daura in January 1932, Walin Daura was the owner of Bayajidda Trading Amenity Company and Standard Construction Company Limited.

Alhaji Sani Buhari Daura was born on 1stjanuay 1932 in Daura of the Present Katsina State.
He did his Islamic Training under his father the then Khadi of Daura and later went to Daura Elementary School from 1938 to Alhaji Sani investment with the Textiles Industry, with which he became a major dealer in 1962.
He opened his first company in Kano in 1962 to begin a highly successful trading enterprise the Bayajida Amenity Trading company.
He later became a Licensed buying Agent for the northern Marketing Board

In 1970, the Company changed to Bayajida Nigeria Ltd to begin another highly successful enterprise this time in Engineering Manufacturing and Construction.
Alhaji Sani Daura is Company MOSEL in Partnership with some Expatriates has successfully reconditioned engines and coupled with imported electrical converters are transformed into powerful and reliable electrical Generators with capacity range from 100 to 150KVA.
In the Agricultural sector, another of his companies CAPITAL Aviation services, in partnership with expatriates, offers total aerial crop protection services as well as High tension line Transmission surveillance for NEPA. Yet another company of his, Standard Construction limited, constructed the imposing Ship House
Alhaji Sani Buhari is also the Chairman of Bayajida Educational Supplies Ltd; Bayajida Ceramic Industry; Katsina Oil Mill Ltd, and Funtua Cotton Seed and Crushing company ltd.
He has also served as a Member of the Nigerian Pilgrims Board; Board of Trustees, Katsina state foundation Trust Fund and Kano State Education Trust Fund. A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Builders and institute of Business of Nigeria, he is also the Walin Daura and officer of the Order of the Niger (2003).
