Hafsat Shehu has revealed the tragedy she went through after the death of her late husband Ahmad S. Nuhu who died in a car accident 17 years ago.
In an emotional interview with BBC Hausa service, she said that as far as this world is concerned they can never be another Ahmad S. Nuhu for her because their love was as passionate as it is still fresh in her mind.

The couple met in Kano during a movie shoot, they became close and fell in love and got married but after 1 year and 6 months.
The late Kannywood Star Ahmad had an accident at Azare Bauchi State on his way coming from Maiduguri and he died on the spot.
“In our 1 year 6 months marriage I had two miscarriage for him and up to the time he died I did not bear issue for him which is one of my regrets today, after him, I married twice but both the marriages did not work out, I’m now single but I am finding it difficult to return to Kannywood, so I’m into other businesses here and there to put food on the table so that I will not depend on anybody”.
Narrating how it transpired the day her former husband died, he had called her and said Hafsat you know that I love you, then I told him must you tell me because I know it myself, later I started feeling cold, I then prepared Indomie but could not eat it later somebody came and said I was wanted in Ali Nuhu’s House, when I got there I was told my husband died in a motor accident, I felt like committing suicide because my late husband was all a woman needs in a man.
“I still have one of his shirts, anytime I thought of him I will wear it and feel the warmth of his body, it’s like we were born for each other, his picture is still in my status, Ahmad which I think is in Al-Jannah, I will pray hard to join him in paradise when I died, is somebody I still want to leave with when I died, he was so caring, he was like a brother to me, husband and all one can think of.
Hafsat Shehu who spoke to BBC in tears revealed that she will continue to pray for him so that he will have peaceful rest in his grave.
