FC Porto criticised Sporting Lisbon players for delaying the final minutes of the match in the Portuguese league on Friday evening.
The match had ended in clashes and four players red-carded after the final whistle.
Through their media account on Twitter, FC Porto said on Saturday that Sporting Lisbon”didn’t want to play anymore”.

The club added that it was because of actions like these that the league has so little playing time on the pitch.
There were some violent scenes following the final whistle after FC Porto defender Pepe was hit in the head by an opponent inside the penalty box.
But a penalty kick was not awarded for the incident.
Sporting Lisbon midfielders Joao Palinha and Bruno Tabata, FC Porto goalkeeper Augustin Marchesin as well as Pepe saw the red card amid the clashes on the pitch.
Sporting Lisbon defender Sebastián Coates had already been sent off early in the second half.
According to a newspaper report, Sporting Lisbon president Frederico Varandas and FC Porto vice-president Vítor Baía had a heated discussion in the parking lot, and the police had to intervene.
“The scenes at the end were shameful,” FC Porto coach Sergio Conceicao said.
League leaders FC Porto fought for a comeback from a 2-0 deficit to keep their six-point lead over second-placed Sporting Lisbon.
The match itself, which is considered one of the top meetings in Portugal, was marked by discussions between players and referee, and several other arguments.
