The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has urged public officers to live above board and extend hands of friendship to all Nigerians.
The party enjoined elected and political appointees in the area to  continue to show love to members of the party and other Nigerians for peace and the overall development of the country.
Mr Moses Malle, the APC Deputy Chairman in the area, made the call at Ubbe on Sunday during a joint APC Stakeholders/Executive members meeting of the four electoral wards in Akun Development Area of the state.
He also called on the people to avoid greed and contribute postively to the development of the area and the state at large.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Akun Development Area comprised of Wakama, Ende, Alushi/Ginda and Ogba/Ubbe/Gaji electoral wards.
The deputy chairman confirmed that stakeholders and party officials in the area have endorsed Gov. Abdullahi Sule, Sen. Godiya Akwashiki (APC- Nasarawa North) and Muluku Agah, member representing Nassarawa Eggon East constituency for re-election in 2023.
He said that Sule, Akwashiki and Muluku were endorsed by the stakeholders based on their performances in their respective offices.
Moses, who is a former Overseer, Akun Development Area, said that the meeting was aimed at promoting unity among members of the party as well as discuss ways forward for the progress of the party beyond 2023.
 “This meeting comprises of four electoral wards that made up Akun Development Area where stakeholders and party executive members of the wards gave us progress reports.
“The four wards have endorsed Gov. Sule and Sen. Akwashiki  for another term in office come 2023.
“While the three wards namely Wakama, Ende and Ogba/Ubbe/Gaji that constitute Eggon East have also endorsed their representative at the state legislature, Hon. Muluku Agah, for another term come 2023.
“The endorsement of Gov. Sule, Sen. Akwashiki and Hon Muluku were based on their track records of achievements and their purposeful leadership in their respective offices.
“The governor, the senator and the member have done their best and still doing their best in the areas of infrastructural development, all inclusive governance and employment, among others.
“We have endorsed them so that they can consolidate on their achievements and to enable us enjoy more dividends of democracy and for the overall development of our wards and the state at large,” he said.
Moses therefore assured the trio of the stakeholders prayers, loyalty and support to succeed.
He however called on the people of the four wards and other electorate in the state to continue to support them to succeed in 2023.
Besides, the deputy chairman urged both elected and political appointees in the area to live above board, avoid greed, extend hands of friendship and contribute postively to the development of the area and the state at large.
Also speaking, Mr Monday Nanza, Mr Alex Nangba, Alhaji Umar Kubi, Dr Ismaila Garba and Mr Joseph Ekom, among other stakeholders and party executives, commended Sule, Akwashiki and Muluku for their purposeful leadership styles and called for its sustenance.
They also urged the people of the area to support the trio to succeed in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy and for development purposes.
Earlier, Mr Bala John, a stakeholder moved a motion for the endorsements for another term in office, while Mr Alex Nangba, another stakeholder, seconded the motion.
The party officials and stakeholders in the four wards thereafter unanimously endorsed Sule, Akwashiki and Muluku for re- election. (NAN)
