Gunmen have attacked the convoy of the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Sueliman , in the the Benin Auchi road.
Three policemen attached to him as escorts and some civilians were killed .

Suleiman as gathered had just returned from a programme in Tanzania and was heading to his base in Auchi when the gunmen opened fire on his convoy at Sabingida , in Waranke area, at about 5.15 pm on Friday.
Though eye witnesses said the police escorts put up an act of bravery by attempting to match the gunmen fire for fire, but were reportedly overpowered .
Police sources in Edo state confirmed that Suleiman escaped, adding that investigation into the incident had begun.
