The choice of the ruling APC gubernatorial candidate for Kano State in 2023, Yusuf Gawuna and his deputy, Sule Garo has been described as a careful and right choice for the state.
Engr. Bashir Abdullahi Kutama, Chairman Gwarzo LGA of the state, stated this during a media session in Kano today.
According to him, going by the records, the duo, have set records that made them stand out whenever issues around human development are being discussed in Kano.
” My Local Government has benefited immensely from the wealth of Sule Garo’s good initiatives when he was the commissioner for local governments in the state.”
“We have recorded achievements in education, health, security and economic development of our area, all thanks to Sule Garo”, he added.
Kutama, stated that, during the reign of the deputy governor Candidate, every local government in the state was accorded necessary support with initiatives that had direct impact on the lives of the people.
He also added that, both Gawuna and Garo had experience of working with the people at the grassroot and did well, an indication that the two understands the need of their people and will do everything possible to further better their lives through the introduction and implementation of good government policies.
That it is worthy to note that through Sule Garo a new command of the FRSC, NDLEA Zonal Command, a DSS office, second after their headquarters and a JTF headquarters were established in Gwarzo taking care of no fewer than 11 local governments along the area which has secured them from security challenges bedeviling Katsina and Zamfara states
Bashir, charge supporters of the APC in Kano to ensure the party’s victory in the 2023 elections and shun violence or any action capable of igniting apprehension and or crisis in the state.
