Kano State Consumer Protection Council (KSCPC) Sunday intercepted a truckload of a trailer transporting a milk product earlier involved in the fire outbreak.
But the products were discovered to have been repackaged and on their way back into the markets which prompted the Council to seize the items believed to have an effect on the health of the general public.

In the same vain the Council also intercepted a vehicle importing fake drugs into the State along Wappa, Fagge LGA, Kano State.
Preliminary investigation revealed the drugs are mostly men sexual enhancement drugs without NAFDAC Registration Number.
The Council recorded the success after some patriotic citizens tip them off about the two cases leading to possible arrest of the products capable of causing harm to the health and lives of the people of the State.
The Acting Managing Director of the Council, Baffa Babba Dan’agundi reaffirms readiness to rid the State of all forms of fake, expired, and unwholesome products in the State.
He calls on the good people of Kano not to relent in reporting to the Council any persons suspected to be in the illegal business so as to help checkmate their activities.
He said his doors are always open for people to report any bad eggs in the society and assures of a reward package and identity
protection.
