Bandits have reportedly killed a 90-year-old and two other persons during a night raid on Friday, in Gombe State.
Confirming the attack, Gombe Police Commissioner, Mr Oqua Etim, said the 90-year-old, including two other persons, were massacred during bandits attack while three others seriously injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
He said the old man was sleeping when the bandits set his hut on fire. Scores of houses and food stores were reportedly burnt during the attacks.
He cautioned residents against threatening the lives of people due to political gains urging them to divorce politics from criminalities.
