Propagation of the true doctrine of Islam through the media has again receive a boom, this is as an Islamic Organization, Nasrul-Lahi-L- Faith Society,(NASFAT), Kaduna branch commissions Administrative and Media Center to enable facilitate the propagation of religion among other relating issues.

The NAFSAT, Kaduna branch Administrative and Media center which is second in line came to being after its Ibadan branch counterpart was a baby of necessitation, according to the branch chairman, Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf

Engr. Yusuf said” The formal commissioning of NASFAT Kaduna Administrative and Media Center is a milestone in the anal of the history of our branch. The need to build this edifice was necessitated by numerous challenges.

“The society being a religion propagation and non profit charity organization requires adequate media coverage for her programmes and events such as conference, lectures, symposiums, advocacy. It is need to present to the public quality media contents.

Also, he noted that there are alots of misconceptions about the religion which has lead to extremism overtime because people don’t have access to Islamic content from the true sources”.

Part of the reason for the birth of the edifice, was the cost of logistics on production within and outside the NASFAT village, lack of archive to keep media records, the need to improve in-house media contents in quality and quantity and also, the need for ease of in-house production on the part of participants”, he enumerated.

Commissioning the edifice, the Executive Chairman of Federal character Commission, DR. Muheeba .F. Dankaka while applauding the initiative noted that the idea of building an Administrative and Media center attached to an Islamic Society like NASFAT is primarily to enhance the day-to-day administration of the Society, its allied duties and furthering the propagation of Islam through media activities

Dankaka said the external threat of indoctrination that is given Islam a bad name must be countered and confronted so as to safeguard the religion through dissemination of true Islamic knowledge and teachings

She has therefore charged the media center and all Imams to redirect themselves in the service of Islam, “The sermons by Imams should focus on true teachings of Islam while the media center should be the central guide of all Muslims broadcast of NAFSAT related activities in the zone to ensure that contents for broadcast are verified and made available accross the zone” She added.

Also, Zonal Missioner, NASFAT Kaduna State branch, Imam Ma’aruf Raji said the initiative will give sustainability to some as a lot of people would be employed.
