A lot of external noise about Real Madrid‘s transfer policy is nothing new, however the reality within Valdebebas is completely different.

The world of constant rumors and the one of making decisions with logic and the reality of the club’s finances don’t coexist, Marca reports.

The case of Eden Hazard is particularly interesting, with the club eager to move him on, however the player has already made it clear that he intends to honor his contract.

With this agreement due to run until 30 June 2024, the club is not going to take any position of force because it has no leverage.

The reality of not being able to ship such a high earner away from the club has limited their budget.

There has even been talk of six or seven different coaches, when there is still one with a contract in force for next season, the same one who has won the five major leagues and a few Champions League titles.

A multitude of players have passed through the window, but the idea maintained by the club, supported by the numbers and the idea of not endangering the stability of the club, is to remain calm and to make at most, one signing of importance to the first-team. The name of that player is Jude Bellingham.

Real Madrid are not going to repeat the case of Luka Jovic, which saw Los Blancos sign a player they didn’t consider elite because they couldn’t secure their first-choice. It will not happen again.

The club have already signed a striker, but for the 2024-25 season. It is Endrick and only a sudden change involving Erling Haaland’s happiness in Manchester could make the signing of the Norwegian possible, but nothing on that front can occur before the summer of 2024.

Real Madrid’s plan for the summer transfer window is clear: sign a star who can make an immediate difference or nobody at all.
