Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has said that though he is hot tempered, he doesn’t go to bed with anybody in mind.

The governor said this while asking forgiveness of members of his executive council during the valedictory session in Maiduguri, on Thursday.

“Yes, many of you will say that I’m somebody who is hot tempered, that’s my nature…., but again, I don’t go to bed keeping somebody in my mind,” he said.

Zulum said he has never had it so challenging while serving in 2019, 2020, and 2021 in a very fragile environment, battling with the Boko Haram insurgency.

“We worked assiduously to the benefit of the people of Borno State within the last four years without an iota of doubt.

“We are human beings, and we are not perfect, but despite our shortcomings, I believed we did well.”

He expressed deep appreciation to all the council members for all that his administration achieved.

“My administration would not have achieved this without your support for my vision and mission for the state. It would not have been achieved without your commitment,” he said.
