Timothy Castagne: Mikel Arteta is looking to add another option to his backline for next season, so Arsenal’s pursuit of a right-back is intensifying this summer. Over the past year, Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu have been the two players who have held down the right flank, but injury issues with the latter have resulted in only the former being available most of the time.

Given the addition of Champions League football next season, as well as the desire to win more trophies and the Premier League title, the need for squad depth is obvious. A slew of names have been linked with a move to full-back in the upcoming transfer window.

Among those names have been Ivan Fresneda and Joao Cancelo, both of whom have added quality depth to the side for the upcoming season. However, another candidate is Leicester City‘s Timothy Castagne, who may be available following the Foxes’ relegation from the Premier League.

That being said, here’s the latest on the Belgian international’s possible move to the Emirates Stadium for the upcoming season.
