In a remarkable yet unfortunate turn of events, a Nigerian man named Tembu Ebere has reportedly experienced partial blindness after embarking on a peculiar quest to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous crying session, lasting a staggering 100 hours.
According to a report published by the Instagram blog, Gossipmill, Ebere confirmed the distressing outcome of his ambitious endeavor.
In an interview with BBC, he disclosed that during his relentless seven-day sobbing marathon, he reached a point where he suddenly lost his vision, experiencing temporary blindness.
Ebere further revealed that along with the temporary visual impairment, he endured other adverse effects, including headaches, swollen eyes, and bodily aches, following the episode of blindness that lasted approximately 45 minutes.
Recognizing the toll his wailing was taking on his well-being, Ebere decided to readjust his strategy by reducing the intensity of his cries in order to alleviate the headaches he was experiencing.
