Governor Uba Sani, has appointed six special advisers and three others to head some agencies in Kaduna State.
DailyNews24 reports that the governor made the appointments in a bid to quicken the pace of governance in Kaduna State and deliver on his campaign promises.
In a statement issued by the Kaduna State Government, “His Excellency,Senator Uba Sani, Governor of Kaduna State, has approved the following appointments:
- Mohammad Sada Jalal, Director General, Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS)
- Jerry Adams, Acting Executive Chairman, Kaduna Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS): Adams will act as the Executive Chairman pending the appointment of a substantive Executive Chairman.
- Adamu Magaji, Director General, Kaduna State Facility Management Agency
(KADFAMA). - Adamu Samaila, Special Adviser, Labor Matters
- Amina Sani Bello, Senior Special Assistant, Student Matters.
- Salisu Ibrahim Garba, Senior Special Assistant, Political Matters.
- Larai Sylvia Ishaku, Senior Special Assistant, Social Investment Programme.
- Clement Shekogaza Wasah, Senior Special Assistant, Community Engagement.
- Waziri Garba, Senior Special Assistant, Administration.
“The appointments are based on the proven track records of the appointees, their commitment to the service of Kaduna State, and the sustainable Agenda of the current administration. They are also people of proven integrity.
While congratulating the appointees, Governor Sani tasked them with fashioning detailed strategies and operational plans to guide the implementation of programs and projects in their areas of responsibility. He wished them God’s guidance in the discharge of their assignments.
The statement further states that all the appointments are to commence with immediate effect.
