Thugs have disrupted the protest embarked upon by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Kaduna State.
During the protests, some suspected thugs drove in two vehicles and tricycle throwing stones at the protesters led by Comrade Ayuba Wabba.
Some of the attackers covered their faces wielding knives and sticks.
“They came in a car and started throwing stones on the workers protesting. People started running but the workers were able to chase them away,” an eye witness narrated.

Journalists and some other persons around fled the area. It is not clear those who sent the thugs to disrupt the protest, Daily Trust reports.
During the protest, the striking workers blocked the main road, forcing motorists to divert to other routes.
The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba, lead the union members to the Kaduna State Government House for a protest.
This comes few hours after the state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai declares the President and others wanted for alleged “economic sabotage” and attack on public infrastructure.

A large crowd, led by Mr. Wabba, marched through Waff road in Kaduna and headed towards the government house.
The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has declared the National President of Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Comrade Ayuba Wabba wanted for alleged economic sabotage and attacks on public infrastructure.
The Governor in a tweet said: “Anyone that knows where he is hiding should send a message to the state Ministry of Justice.
