Real Madrid has announced the signing of French superstar Kylian Mbappé on a free transfer, ending a seven-year chase for the forward.
Mbappé, 25, will officially join the Spanish giants on July 1, putting pen to paper on a five-year contract worth up to €20 million annually, plus a staggering €125 million signing-on bonus.
The highly anticipated move was confirmed by Real Madrid and Mbappé himself, who expressed his excitement as he shared images on social media of when he was a boy in the club’s jersey as well as meeting Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mbappé’s impressive career statistics include 256 goals in 308 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, and he is expected to don the iconic No 9 shirt for Real Madrid next season.
The deal marks a significant milestone for Real Madrid, fresh from their record-extending 15th European Cup victory.
Mbappé joins a formidable forward line, including VinÃcius Júnior, Rodrygo, and upcoming talent Endrick, set to arrive from Palmeiras later this month.
