 Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for investors in Kano State to stimulate economic growth and development.

Yusuf spoke during a courtesy visit with Hajiya Aisha Rimi, Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), at Government House, in Kano State,  on Wednesday .

Yusuf emphasised the importance of attracting investments to the state.

He said, “We are dedicated to establishing a favourable climate for investors in Kano State, recognizing the pivotal role of investments in shaping our economic landscape.

 “We are committed to providing the necessary support to achieve this goal,” he said.

The Governor said that there was a need for collaboration with the Federal Government to unlock diverse investment opportunities.

Yusuf said, ” Through close collaboration, we aim to unleash Kano State’s full potential as a vibrant investment destination, attracting and retaining investors who will significantly contribute to our state’s economic advancement,” he said.

”The Kano State Government is poised to take proactive measures to ensure that investors view the state as welcoming and financially rewarding destination for their investments.”

Rimi commended Kano state as a key investment hub in Northern Nigeria, emphasising the need to attract investors to the region.

She affirmed NIPC’s commitment to enhancing Kano’s economic landscape by supporting local investors and facilitating their growth.

The executive secretary praised Yusuf’s achievements in education, healthcare, and security, saying, ” these advancements have created a stable and an appealing environment for both local and international investors.”
