At least 72 Persons have sustained various degrees of injuries when fire broke out Saturday Evening at Al-ihsan Petroleum Company, Sharada Phase 1 in Kano.

The fire outbreak was caused by a Tanker offloading petroleum product at the fueling station, Kano Secretary General of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi confirms while speaking to Justice Watch News.

He said Emergency First Aid Team of the Red Cross promptly responded and evacuated 72 affected Victims to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano for medical care.

He added that Seven Red Cross Volunteers actively participated in the operation.

“Some staff of the fire service were affected by the incident.”

“As I’m speaking to you now 36 victims were attended by Medical Personnel” He said.
