A phone number associated with the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has been compromised, according to an official statement released on Tuesday.

The governor’s spokesman, Olawale Rasheed, made the announcement, alerting the public to disregard any communications originating from the number +234 803 365 7555.

In the statement, Rasheed urged the public to remain cautious and to not engage with any messages or calls from the affected phone number. “Please disregard any solicitation from +234 803 365 7555. Appropriate action is ongoing to remedy the situation,” he stated.

Rasheed further elaborated that authorities are actively investigating the breach and are making concerted efforts to secure the governor’s communication channels. “Authorities are currently investigating the breach and are working diligently to secure the governor’s communication lines,” Rasheed explained.

He also emphasized the importance of public vigilance during this period. “The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops,” he added.

Adeleke announces dissolution of Osun Assembly

Recall that Daily News 24 reported how Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun State announced the dissolution of the 7th State House of Assembly.

This was contained in a statement by Malam Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson to the governor on Sunday in Osogbo.

The governor  exercised the authority vested in him by Section 105(3)  of the Nigerian constitution by announcing the dissolution of the 7th  assembly and  proclamation for the 8th assembly.

The governor  conveyed the dissolution of the 7th assembly  and the proclamation  of the 8th assembly to the Clerk of the state assembly.

The 8th assembly will be inaugurated on June 6.

Adeleke said: ” I write to convey my proclamation for the holding of the 8th Assembly.
