Ibrahim was apprehended after weeks of diligent tracking by the NSCDC, following multiple complaints from victims who claimed they were scammed.

โ€œThe suspect, Muโ€™azu Mohammed Ibrahim, 32 years old, a resident of Sagagi Quarters, Kano Municipal LGA, was arrested after weeks of intense tracking of his whereabouts, following complaints lodged by individuals, mostly women, who had been duped by the suspect of more than N1.2 million,โ€ Abdullahi revealed.

The victims, mostly women, were allegedly deceived by Ibrahim, who posed as a key government official capable of securing them jobs in various government ministries, departments, and agencies. However, the promised employment opportunities were found to be fictitious.

Abdullahi further disclosed that the investigation into the case has been completed, and the suspect will be charged in court by the corpsโ€™ legal unit.
