The Sadiq Aminu Wali faction of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State has formally rejected the ward congresses conducted today. The faction claims the congresses lacked โtransparency, inclusiveness, and fairness.โ
In their statement, the faction expressed concern over the deliberate exclusion of key stakeholders and legitimate party members leading up to the congresses.
They highlighted several irregularities observed during the process, arguing that these issues contravened the democratic principles of the PDP.

Sadiq Aminu Wali, leader of the faction, expressed his dismay over the procedural failings and violations of the partyโs guidelines. He noted that despite repeated efforts to engage with party officials to resolve issues before the congresses, their concerns were โdisregarded,โ leading to todayโs flawed process.
The faction is calling on the PDPโs national leadership to โswiftly intervene and take necessary steps to address the anomaliesโ and preserve the partyโs unity and integrity.
They emphasized the importance of resolving these issues as critical elections approach in Kano State.
