Members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently engaged in a crucial closed-door meeting with the partyโs caucus in the National Assembly.
The meeting is ongoing at the PDP office, Legacy House, in Maitama, Abuja, amid the partyโs ongoing struggle to address internal “discor” of its prominent chieftains.
The PDP has faced increasing turmoil since the 2023 elections, with notable friction within its ranks. Acting National Chairman Umar Damagum has been criticized for his perceived lack of decisive action to address the partyโs issues.
