The Osun APC submitted a resolution to the partyโs National Secretariat, addressed to APC National Chairman, Dr. Umar Ganduje, detailing the charges against Aregbesola.
The party alleges that Aregbesola fostered divisions within the Osun APC by establishing a splinter faction, a move party leaders claim has weakened party cohesion at a critical time in the stateโs political landscape.
According to the Osun APC, Aregbesolaโs influence over certain groups within the party has contributed to internal discord, with leaders asserting that this suspension is necessary to address perceived disloyalty and restore unity within the party.
The decision underscores the partyโs efforts to realign leadership and strengthen internal unity as they prepare for future electoral engagements. Reactions from Aregbesolaโs camp are anticipated as the situation continues to unfold.
