This initiative is part of the faction’s broader strategy to reassert its influence and relevance in Kano’s political landscape, especially in light of the party’s recent challenges in the state.
During the press conference, Little criticized the faction led by Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, alleging that it had caused internal crises that divided the party into two groups. He emphasized the need for unity and collective effort to revive the PDP’s fortunes in Kano.
Little’s engagement with local stakeholders represents a crucial step toward reunifying the party and reclaiming its lost ground.
By reaffirming their commitment to the PDP’s ideals and values, Little and Wali’s faction aims to revitalize the party’s presence in Kano and strategically position itself for future electoral successes.
