In a statement on Sunday, the committeeโs Media Officer, Yakasai, emphasized that the program is designed to โsanitise and secure the business environment.โ He added, โThis exercise is essential for the stateโs security and for safeguarding the legitimate business interests of both expatriates and the local community.โ

The government encouraged all expatriates to cooperate fully, as their participation strengthens the โinclusive, secure, and prosperous environmentโ that the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf envisions for Kano.
โBy cooperating with this exercise, expatriates contribute to a well-regulated and thriving business ecosystem that benefits everyone in Kano,โ the statement concluded.
