The prosecution counsel, Lamido Abba-Sorondinki, revealed that the defendant committed the heinous crime on August 1 at Jaba Panisau Quarters, Kano.
The victim’s father had taken the minor to Ibrahim-Abdullahi’s pharmacy, Waraka Chemist, seeking treatment for malaria. Tragically, the defendant allegedly exploited this trust, leading to unimaginable consequences.
Justice Zuwaira Yusuf, presiding over the case, ordered Ibrahim-Abdullahi’s remand until December 9 for a hearing. The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The allegations contravene Sections 221 and 283 of the Penal Code.
