He described the promotion as a historic milestone in the corps’ history, aimed at enhancing its structure and performance.
Masaโudu praised Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed’s dynamic leadership for implementing the rank harmonization policy, upgrading 1,395 marshals nationwide, including 61 from the Kano Command, and strengthening the corps’ overall structure. “His leadership has led to the strategic repositioning and unprecedented harmonization of marshal ranks,” he noted.
He congratulated the newly converted officers, urging them to show greater commitment, discipline, and professionalism in their new roles. โThe corps now expects them to be more dedicated, disciplined, and loyal,” Masaโudu emphasized.
Addressing those who are yet to be converted, Masaโudu assured them that the rank harmonization policy would continue. “The harmonization of marshal ranks has come to stay in FRSC, as I am optimistic the Corps Marshal will continue to implement more policies like this that will improve staff welfare,” he stated.
