The Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has turbaned seven district heads in a bid to strengthen the traditional heritage and foster the development of the emirate.
The ceremony, held at the Emirโs palace in Zaria, drew a large crowd from various backgrounds.
Speaking at the event, the Emir highlighted that the newly appointed district heads were selected based on their traditional lineage and significant contributions to the growth of the emirate, the state, and the nation.

Represented by his Senior Councillor, Alhaji Abas Ahmed Fatika, the Sarkin Fadar Zazzau, the Emir called on the newly turbaned leaders to leverage their extensive experience to bring more glory, respect, and progress to the emirate.
He urged them to demonstrate heightened commitment and make sacrifices to enhance the traditional and cultural heritage, while also contributing positively to the socio-economic, religious, and educational standards of the people in the emirate.
The Emir emphasized the importance of promoting unity, harmony, and tolerance among their followers to ensure stability within the wider community. He advised the newly turbaned district heads to refrain from actions that could harm the cultural values of the people and encouraged them to serve as good ambassadors of the emirate wherever they are.
The leaders turbaned at the event include Dan Isa, Alhaji Mustapha Aliyu Shehu Idris; Sarki Dawakin Tsakar Gida, Alhaji Junaid Muhammadu; Ciroman Dawaki, Alhaji Musa Tijjani Umar; Janjuna, Alhaji Suleiman Mijinyawa; Daneji, Alhaji Salisu Hamza; Tafidan Kudu, Alhaji Lawal Mukhtar Sambo; and Tafidan Arewa, Alhaji Abdullahi Yahaya Makama.
