Bandits in large number invaded Fumigi street, Ungwan Galadima, Gonin Gora, Chikun local government area of Kaduna state killed three people and abducted two women.

The state chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. John Joseph Hayab confirmed the incident.

He explained that the bandits stormed the community in the early hours of this morning (Thursday) for about an hour without security’s presence.

He stated that those killed by the bandits are Aminu Bege and his son as well as a neighbour.

Another resident who sought for anonymity explained that bandits were sporadically shooting, while the bandits operated freely and left with their abductees.

According to him, “The bandits are now killing their victims in order to put fear in the people.

ASP Mohammed Jalige, the state Police Public Relations Officer could not be reached for comment as he could not respond to calls put to him.
