Ahmadiyya hospital reacts
In an exclusive interview with Daily News 24, Dr Mudassir Ahmed, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital said that a large number of patients are happy with their services and that when someone visits a facility which doesn’t serve them, there isn’t any essence in coming back.
He said that the post of the famous Kannywood actress was probably a fake publicity stunt and she was probably doing that to gain public attention or more followers.
He added that things on social media might not necessarily be the truth. “If she claims that something like that happened, let her present the patient and the complaints to the hospital.
“We don’t force people to come to the hospital, it is a charity hospital and one of the oldest in Kano and so far we have been satisfying the patients who come.” He said.
Dr Mudassir rhetorically asked “can we satisfy everybody? If only one out of a hundred people is raising complains about the services we deliver in this hospital, then it shows that we have been so far satisfying our clients.
“Any complainant should use the appropriate channel of tabling their complaints which is coming to the hospital with the patient. We can’t give out patient’s information because it is confidential and is part of our policy and we can’t breach the protocol of confidentiality.” He told Daily News24.Â
